
Glen Shapiro, MD joins the General Surgery department at Tacoma Medical Center

We are pleased to announce that Glen Shapiro, MD has joined the General Surgery department at Tacoma Medical Center. Dr. Shapiro comes to us from completing his Fellowship.
Dr. Shapiro earned his MD from University of Washington School of Medicine. Additionally, he earned a Master of Public Health from Columbia University in New York, NY. He completed his Surgical Internship at University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC and completed his Residency at New York Presbyterian-Cornell in New York, NY. Most recently, he completed his MIS Fellowship at University of Missouri Healthcare, Department of Surgery in Columbia, MO. Dr. Shapiro is board eligible in General Surgery.
