Melanie Berg, MD joins the Family Medicine department at Puyallup Medical Center

We are pleased to announce that Melanie Berg, MD has joined the Family Medicine department at Puyallup Medical Center. Dr. Berg comes to us from Community Health Care, Parkland Clinic in Tacoma, WA where she practiced full-spectrum family medicine. She will be joining other Group Health Physicians in the South Sound in starting a family medicine with low-risk obstetrics group.

Dr. Berg attended New York Medical College School of Medicine in Valhalla, NY where she earned both her MD as well as a Masters in Public Health. She then completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Washington. Dr. Berg is board certified in Family Medicine.

I strive to provide quality medical care to people of all ages, including prenatal care. I believe in a holistic approach to each individual, aiding them in their awareness and understanding of their health.

I am familiar with several complementary and alternative medicine modalities. Completed education and shadowing of many modalities, with a special interest in nutrition, at Bastyr University during residency training.
