Group Health's Medicare Plan Is Among Best in the Nation

Group Health is the 14th highest rated Medicare plan in the nation, according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2011-2012-Medicare.

NCQA's Health Insurance Plan Rankings for 2011-2012 compared 385 health insurance plans.

This is the fourth year in a row Group Health has been among the top 15 plans in the nation, demonstrating consistently high clinical and service performance for its Medicare members.

The rankings are based on quality measures for patient care, customer satisfaction, and accreditation.

NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations. It also recognizes clinicians and practices in key areas of performance. NCQA's Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) is the most widely used performance measurement tool in health care.
